If I remember right, the Warriors brough Cheaney in to be an assistant coach. Is anyone close enough to the team to comment on how he is doing/did? He always seemed to me like the type of player that would make for a good coach.
No clue but I remember reading articles on J-Rich and Monota respectively when they started breaking out and both cited Cheaney specifically as keys to their success. I don't think I've heard anything about him since the news that he was brought in as an assistant.
He was brought in as "Special Assistant" which I think was the same title given to Mullin when he first joined the Warriors as a non-player.
