    How will this hurt the product? Less vibrant colors? Less pixels? Anything like that? If so, fuck that law. That is bullshit only to save $30 on average a household.

    I think LED HDTV's are the new tech that will replace LCD and Plasma anyway. They are much more EE as far as I know.

    Yeah, LED's are the big thing right now, but it's going to be awhile before the prices on those start falling like LCD's and Plasma's have.

    That sure seems like a bullshit law to me. Maybe they should ban SUV's and other gas inefficient vehicles too.

    Hard to say his popularity is 50/50 still. I'm not a fan of Meg Whitman or Carly Fiorina. I can't say for certain there's ever been a good governor for the state of Cali.

    I don't understand why this isn't the norm, why shouldn't ALL new electronic goods be made to be more energy efficient? The lack of care shown by these companies is laughable.
