<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">DENVER -- There was a time when Marcus Camby would have given most anything to remain with the Knicks. But having learned what it feels like to lose night after night when he was playing with Toronto's expansion team, Camby knows what lies ahead for the Knicks and thanks his lucky stars for the 2002 trade that sent him to Denver.

"I've been there, so I know the struggle," Camby said Tuesday night after the Nuggets scored a 20-point win that gave the Knicks their 14th loss in the past 16 games. "I wouldn't want to be in their shoes right now."

Camby especially feels for new Knicks coach Herb Williams, who was a teammate when the Knicks went to the NBA Finals in 1999 and later served as an assistant coach under Don Chaney in Camby's final season with the Knicks.

"I'm happy to see Herb as the head coach over there," Camby said, but he agreed Williams is in a no-win situation after taking over for Lenny Wilkens six games ago. "He's put in a tough position. They're not playing well. I hate for Herb to take all the blame because he's such a great guy and was such a great teammate."</div>
