<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Yao Ming will stroll out for the opening tip Friday. It remains to be seen if Marcus Camby will join him. "I don't know yet," the Denver Nuggets center said Wednesday when asked if he'll be able to play against Houston and 7-foot-5 center Yao. Camby missed Denver's 106-99 win against Memphis on Monday because of a strained lower back. But the Nuggets were able to get away with a small lineup. The Rockets, however, are one of the NBA's taller teams. Obviously, the Nuggets, who have gotten inconsistent play from their backup big men, could use the 6-11 Camby. "(The back) is getting better," said Camby, whose magnetic resonance imaging exam Wednesday was negative. "I'll just have to see how it feels (Friday). That's all you can do." Neither Camby nor forward Carmelo Anthony (sprained right toe) practiced Wednesday - each worked on conditioning - but Anthony has no doubts he'll play against Houston. </div> Rocky Mountain News
If him and melo don't play, say good bye to a win for the Nuggets. They need Camby and Melo, Camby is a key for defense in the key, and Melo...well you should know lol. Ming will just dominate if Camby isn't there, look at what the Rockets are doin tonight...it might change inthe second half but if it was Nuggets it would be worst. EDIT I messed up with the first sentence lol
Melo and camby play for the Rockets? kidding Playa. i agree that Yao will be too much for the nuggets if there first round number two draft pick is not suited up to play.
