<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Former Griz point guard Antonio Burks attended the game. The local product and former University of Memphis standout sat courtside across from the Bucks' bench. Burks, who played two seasons for the Griz, is on a roster for Serbia in Europe. He participated in the Miami Heat training camp before being cut a week before the regular season began. In effort to improve on their attendance, which is among the NBA's lowest, the Griz took aim at the Mid-South's enthusiasm for hunting and fishing by offering fans a special buy one, get one free ticket deal. Fans needed to wear camouflage clothing, jackets, hats, shirts, shoes, etc, present a valid hunting and/or fishing license from any state, bring any hunting decoys, fishing lures or fishing paraphernalia. The Camo Night ticket offer benefited more than 350 fans who took advantage of the buy-one-get-one free promotion. </div> Source Does Memphis still have "Fear the Beard" night?

Camo night? Wow. You won't see that in New York or Los Angeles. The team needs to move. The fans are unsupportive and don't attend games, and players don't want to play in such a crazy hicktown.
Actually they have a Camo day for the San Diego Padres, but there's a good reason for it. A lot of the population in San Diego are retirees from the Armed Services. It's pretty amazing how fast the direction of this franchise has gone from building a state of the art facility and winning 50+ games a season, to becoming one of the worst franchises in the league, record wise and attendance wise.

And while the arena may be state of the art, the fact of the matter is that the attendance has never been there. Even during the Grizzlies' best seasons record-wise, the attendance was among the league's worst.
Really sad to see this. First the Vancouver move and now likely the Grizzlies will be packing up and shipping out again. If that happens, bring back Buffalo.
