I say yes. This was a terrific win. They fought back from a 7 point deficit with under 6 minutes to play in regulation and took the game away from Sacramento in OT. Przybilla is starting to come around and do the little things we need. He still has a long way to go, but I think he's showing that he can make it all the way back. I'm REALLY PROUD of the team tonight!
I just hope Joel stays healthy until Camby gets back. We're asking a lot of the guy so soon after his surgeries. Dude is definitely my favorite player on the team now.
Watching him mess with Cousins' head was hilarious. He had that fool furious while Joel was smiling. It was great. Joel isn't quite the same player but he's certainly not a bad player to have. MB was saying Joel told him his body feels entirely different when he knows he has to get ready to play big minutes. I really think we see Joel play pretty well over the next month and continue to get better as he regains his confidence and gets in better shape. Blazers not making the playoffs? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease. I know for a fact these guys won't quit.
There's no such thing as a moral victory. Unless it is also an actual victory. Good grit and satisfying win, regardless of who the opponent was.
I wouldn't really call any win this year 'huge'. It's not like we're competing for anything other than a lousy 8th seed . But either way solid win.
WHAT A GUTSY WIN!!!! You gotta love this team. They refuse to whine or use excuses, even when half the team is injured. Aldridge really came up big in the fourth quarter, and everybody played their hearts out. Anybody know if Rudy is ok?
Solid win, but not a huge one. The Kings completely melted down for stretches in the 4th and the Blazers couldn't take advantage at all.
