Ben Gordon has been receiving a lot of attention from opposing teams defenses this year partly due to the fact Curry is no longer a factor, and party due to the fact he now has a reputation of being a scorer. It will take some time for him to adjust the way other teams are playing him this year, but he will figure it out sooner or later. The fact that he is still scoring despite shooting a bad percentage shows he is finding other ways to score such as getting to the free throw line. If he shoots well for a few games in a row his percentage will be back over 40%, and no one will be complaining.

I am not giving him a free pass for his poor shooting it certainly hurts us, but it was something that was to be expected when we heard about the Curry trade. He has shot a bit better these last couple games that Sweetney has started. Though it is still mediocre, at best. His shot is getting their he shot around 48 percent for much of the San Antonio game, but forced shots at the end that made his game percentage fall. I think if the Bulls can get a Al Harrington in a trade involving Tim Thomas and Pike then it will give Gordon some more room to operate.
