Threre is the big question to the Pacer's season. Who will lead this team now that Reggie Miller is not there to baby these young players. I personally don't think he can do it, I believe that the real man will be the leader on this team, Ron Artest. He is tough and has a take no crap attitude. Which is just what this team needs now and hopefully it will filter down throughout the team so the Pacers actually have a chance this year.

What are you talking about. Jermaine O'Neal is ten times the leader Artest will never be. As proven by his recent statements, Artest is your a me-against-the-system type of player with an outcast mentality, which I have no problem with but that's usually NOT the guy to lead a team. JO is always complimenting other players on their play, which I don't hear Ronnie doing all that often. And JO is the guy Bird believes is the guy to lead the team. Geez, I wonder if Bird knows a thing about leadership of a basketball club?? I can only wonder about what your definition of "the real man" means?
And you say that a "take no-crap attitude" is just what the team needs now? That's hilarious. Maybe it's me but I find it hard to envision at the top of Rick Carlisle's clipboard "GOALS FOR THE SEASON: GOAL 1: To establish a take-no-crap attitude."....

^^Nah, O'Neal is a respected player on and off the court. I have a feeling people respect Ron only because they're scared he'll go off on them.

I guess I can just say until Jermaine has more 'leadership' potential than Ron.
