12% of the way into the season, you gotta ask yourself if Marcel Ozuna is just hot, or if what he's doing is sustainable. I mean, he put up 40-100 last season, so he's obviously a premier hitter, but leading the majors in OPS is other level.

I would guess it's unlikely, with most hot streaks. But who knows?! I haven't dove in to see exactly why he is hitting so well. Are there certain pitches he's feasting on, situations, etc.
What I love about our lineup is it's so deep that we get a few guys cold to start, but have hot streaks from other guys to carry us over. And if/when Ozuna hits a slump, I imagine it'll randomly coincide with Olson getting on track and beginning to mash. Or Murphy and Ozzie coming back.

Prior to going 2-4 with his first home run in 2 weeks, Ozuna had himself a 1-21 (7 strikeouts) 6-game stretch. Still leading the majors in RBI's and tied for the lead in home runs, but the drop-off since...basically since I made this thread... is undeniable.

I'm sorry Marcel--it's all my fault.
