    I need to know what this quote means by 2 am"There is nothing worst than victory, save defeat",-Winston Churchillwhat does he mean? I needa write an essay right now about it.

    it means that there is nothing worse than victory EXCEPT defeat.So what he is saying is that victory isn't all glory, it is hard. I suspect that he is talking about war and the horrors - even when you win its is a terrible thing but winning a war is better thatn losing a war.Not positive about that last one as I have't read the context of the quote.ah you got it well done
