I'm a big fan of T-Mac and I'm really clueless as to why he can't get healthy. He's only 31 after all. I think if he just gets healthy, he can still be a pretty solid contributor to any team, the way KG and Ray Allen are to the Celtics.

Anyone thinking along the same lines?

Also, Grant Hill went through the same problems and was able to bounce back to become a pretty decent role player so I don't see why T-Mac can't do the same.

It depends on where he's at mentally. At one point he simply wanted to quit and retire from the game.

^ That's because he wasn't playing for a championship. If he comes to the Lakers he'll be more than motivated.

It has nothing to do with "motivation". He should be motivated enough. Who knows how he's feeling physically though.

^ It has everything to do with motivation. Some players perform on bad teams then stop performing well because they are playing on bad teams.

Yeah he's not motivated on a terrible team, that's why he's working out for the Clippers?

Right so him being a second round virgin like Kobe in his prime, has nothing to do with it? He can't be motivated enough because of that?
