With the bulls hurting for a bigman can they sfford not to put a bid in on a 20 and 10 guy?

Right now I say we just sign him and give him a try. the way the bulls have been playing as of late its impossible to watch a game.

Just curiuos about your opinion. I will elaborate tomorrow to late to post a long post.

    Good night.

I was thinking about it too when the buyout talk came out. But, it looks like he's heading to the Pistons. And the Bulls organization has no interest in him from all the reports about what teams are interested in him.

Webber said that rumor isnt true and that his options are open to any contending team. he was interviewed by the TNT panel.

he said hes interested in any team from the magic to the spurs (and any teams in between.)

The Bulls could certainly use a low post scorer, but they have other options available to them if they don't land Webber. The Bulls have a lot of tradeable assets, so whether they make a move this season or over the summer, or in the middle of next season, they'll do what's best to get this team back in the NBA Finals.

The Bulls have a young nucleus so they have plenty of time to tweak their roster. If you look at the successful teams around the league, they all see success after they've kept their team together for a long period of time. Developing chemistry and defining specific roles for each player is the key.

Webber is not much of a post presence any more so I don't see much of a point in perusing him. He shoots a mere 42% from the field, most of his shots come from the top of the key, he would be a less reliable version of Malik Allen. only part of his game that has not diminished is his passing ability.

Yes, i think they can pass on it. Webber is an older player, and the Bulls are a VERY young team. They could use him of course as lots of teams could, but they can do without him as well. They are on the right track and with Deng, Gordon, and Noch playing like they do they'll be fine.
