The Denver Broncos opened the 2011 NFL betting lines season in rough fashion, winning one game and losing four in their first five games of the season. As a result, Broncos Head Coach Mike Foxx elected to replace Kyle Orton with third string pivot Tim Tebow, figuring things could not get any worse for his team. Instead of getting worse, things have turned around dramatically for the Broncos, as they have gone seven and one and taken sole possession of first place in the AFC West price per head division. Denver keeps on finding ways to win under Tebow, making everyone else wonder, can the Broncos win the Super Bowl?

It’s been a crazy two months for Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos, as despite not lighting up any opponent by any means, the Broncos continue to find ways to win. Sunday afternoon against the Chicago Bears had divine intervention written all over it, as a wild series of events resulted in the Broncos stealing what should have been an easy victory. Essentially, one has to wonder, if both Chicago Bears starting quarterback Jay Cutler and running back Matt Forte were both healthy, would the Bears have destroyed the Broncos?

On the other hand, Marion Barber may want to leave Chicago for a while, as two major misplays by him, allowed for the Broncos to come away with the victory. Firstly, Barber ran out of bounds in the final moments of the fourth quarter, which allowed the Broncos to have one final shot at tying the game. They would tie the game on a 59-yard field goal to send the game to overtime. Then in overtime, Barber would fumble the ball, which then gave the ball to Denver. As a result, the Broncos shocked the NFL again, with a 51-yard game winning field goal to move to seven and one since Tebow took over.

Can the Broncos win the Super Bowl we ask? On paper, this team has no business being 25 – feet from the Super Bowl let alone being in the game all together. Depending on whom you talk too, the Broncos should very much be a two and 11 team rather then eight and four. The main reason the Broncos even have a chance to compete for the bookie software Super Bowl, is because of their defense. If Denver had the New England Patriots defense for example, they may very well be two and 11 and out of the conversation for Super Bowl contender.

Speaking of New England, Tom Brady and the Patriots will be Tim Tebow’s next challenge, as they go head to head next weekend. The Patriots are coming off a narrow victory over Washington, in which they won 34 – 27. Shifting our attention back to the Denver Broncos, the team has been as lucky as ever, facing teams with depleted rosters on this improbable run. Meaning to say, if they can beat Brady and the Patriots next weekend, we may jump aboard the Tebow bandwagon.
