I really like him as a sixth man off the bench for us. Bench unit of maynor, meyers chandler claver and williams /barton. we need a scorer ball handler off the bench. I like Chandlers game.
He can play some PF and can shoot a bit. He doesn't play much, though. Is the plan to stock up on Vet Min guys?
Between Chandler and Brewer, I'd be gunning for Brewer, who's a free agent this season. They're both great players offensively that play within the team concept and don't force too much, but Brewer's an amazing defender as well, and he's really started to scrape the potential that we saw from him at Florida. If some team doesn't want to overpay for Brewer, he could be a great bargain free agent.
They're both great offensive players? Brewer wasn't a great offensive player in college. Tony Allen> Corey brewer. And Allen and brewer both are not above average offensive players. Chandler would be great for the blazers second unit
I didn't say he was a great offensive player in college, but he's definitely a great offensive player within the team concept on the NBA level. The man's improved his game exponentially. He's really clicked in the system, and if there's any evidence you need of that, just look at how he's played since Gallinari's been out and how he's had to take on a more important offensive role. He's really transformed himself from a good athlete, great defender, who's unreliable in the half-court to a well-rounded player that can do a bit of everything. Tony Allen's a much better player, but not offensively, and I don't even know how he got brought into this discussion.
