Can you imagine?

    I was at the bar with my buddies last night and we were talking about the VC in NJ subject and all the highlights that Kidd is gonna provide by throwing opps left and right to RJ and VC.

    Can anyone imagine if the Nets still kept Kenyon Martin? This team would be the ultimate highlight reel all time in NBA history.

    Here's how I look at things. If we had kept Martin, then Carter wouldn't be a Net. So yes, I can imagine it, and I agree that it would be just amazing, but it would never have happened.

    Yeh, we gave away two thirds (two picks that we got for Martin) of Martin away to get Carter. [​IMG].

    Another reason, the salary cap can't allow kidd,rj,kmart,carter together, unless we haven't signed Zo and Mutombo...

    Like everyone said, that couldn't happen but it would be awesome. That would be the ultimate dunking squad. The Nets would sell out every game and have so many fans. [​IMG]

    if we had carter,kidd,jefferson,kmart in the team dat will be amazing.. clearly a championship but i can imagine it cuz of salary cap.. kmart is very greedy

    Come on now, Denver had so much more to offer Martin than JUST the max money. Martin was leaving his heart on the court of the Meadowlands for what, sixteen thousand if the Lakers were in town? He was going to be playing against the BEST big men in the league out West and would be playing with Carmello Anthony. The Nets didn't offer max money to K-Mart, and since time has passed, I don't blame them. As much as I absolutly LOVE his intensity and perimeter defense, he's not a max money player. Martin is listed at 6'9" and was DOMINATED by the by likes of Duncan, KG, Rasheed Wallace, and even a HEALTHY CHRIS WEBBER.

    Martin is good, but there are many players who are just BETTER.

    "Dude" (sarcasm) read the post ABOVE mine. I should've quoted the "K-Mart is greedy line" but didn't. Guess that's beacuse I can't read, but I can write?
