I thought they must have been running a laugh track until the camera panned back and people were clearly enjoying themselves. I've enjoyed quite a few laughs at her expense but this didn't even get me to smile. STOMP
As a teenager, I used to watch stand-up comedy on TV because I liked the concept of it...I thought it would be good entertainment. Over time, though, I realized that 99% of stand-up comedians are utterly unfunny. And yet, every audience laughs and cheers throughout. It seems to me that people are just highly suggestible...when they're in a venue where they're "supposed" to amused, they are willing to laugh...even if the material is just not that funny. Somehow, it's even worse when an unfunny comedian takes a shot at political humour. That really needs to be clever to work and when it isn't, it's cringe-inducing. Like this clip.
It has something to do with alcohol consumption, too. The bar gets set lower when you're at the bar. barfo
I am not going to watch it as I like funny comedians and I really really really really can't stand Sarah Palin. Instead, I am going to post a video from a funny comedian and you can insert Sarah Palin as Leslie Jones and Sarah's dream job in place of Leslie's dream man. Sarah isn't good enough for what she dreams of.
