My synergy subscription ends Sept. 31st so I've been watching Blazers clips from last year, and I just got done watching all of Cambys' assists with the Blazers last year.

Remember how agonizing it would be to watch G.O. fight for position down low and not get rewarded? Cambys' willingness and ability to hit cutters and make post entry passes from the high post is going to help Greg out tremendously. Pair that with his ability to hit the mid range J (Greg is a very willing passer out of the post) and his dribble drive / drop-off pass ability, I really think Marcus can help open the floor up for Greg and take better advantage of his strengths.

Aldridge and Camby we're building some nice chemistry together to end the year and I expect it to be even better with Greg in there!!!

And I haven't even talked about the defensive end! Sure, Camby can't keep up with most 4's nowadays, but with Greg backin' him up, does it really matter??

    Bring on the Season!!!:ghoti:

If Oden can stay healthy I don't think there's a better defensive/rebounding duo in the League.

    ......If Oden can stay healthy.

Oden and Camby will play together for 5 minutes before Oden gets injured again. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Assuming both Camby & Oden are fully healthy, they may play a few minutes together on the floor. But that's about it. We seem to have another PF that plays about 36-39 minutes per game.

Those 7 games when they are both healthy together will be epic.

The law of averages says we're dur for some good health - and the frontcourt triumvirate of Camby, Oden and a beefed up Aldridge has me ready for some Blazers basketball!

Wow, how's life treating you in cynical land? Pretty boring eh? Not much room for anything new!

JDC I'm ready for the next highlight reel!

Interesting. I never really thought of the advantages in such combo, maybe because Greg was never healthy with Camby on the team. If we listed all of our big men in order, #2 would be a PF but #1, 3, 4 on the depth charts are natural centers (Oden, Camby, Joel). I understand BP's argument about LMA playing most of the minutes at PF but I think behind LeMarcus, it's probably Camby.

I love that mix of bigs. I think Oden and Camby will be so fucking intimidating on defense. Blocking anything close to the paint, especially with batum funneling the drivers and swatting from behind.

And it's not just those two. Aldridge (260) and Przybilla (who is back earlier than expected) are both good defenders as well. The defensive quad GreMarZillRidge will beast up this fucking league.

I agree, I can hardly wait for that. Oden, Camby, Batum on the front line. It will be hell of a problem for other teams to challenge the paint when that wrecking crew is in.

Do you really believe/want to believe this. I don't think it will happen as you say and actually think the team will have a great season.

This team my be the most versatile team in the league. Four great bigs and very versatile wings. A very good PG. We can run, defend, rebound and shoot. What's not to like?

You put Greg, Camby, Nic, and Matthews and Brandon out there together......... the other team won't be able to score!

If we hold the other teams to 20 pts or less, we go 82-0!

With Nate's offense, we will easily have a +3 in point differential as well.
