So uh, do you guys think there's any chance they pivot over to buy the Blazers now?

Best guess is over by the Fremont ridge on the West side of the river.

Yesterday on 1080 they had an interview with former OSU Beaver, Darwin Barney who is an investor and will be involved in the Portland Diamond Project. I think it was Issac and Suke.

I can't believe this hasn't been talked about in here already.

Because most don't think it's actually going to happen. Portland has small town thinking leadership

MLB to PDX moving slowly, but 'information soon'

Portland Diamond Project working on stadium

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- The effort to bring Major League Baseball to Portland is progressing well, but spokesperson Mike Barrett said details about what's going on aren't quite ready for prime time.

The Portland Diamond Project was expected to announce its stadium location around this time. But things are going a little slower than expected.

"I know that fans are aching to hear more and they want more information," Barrett said. "They will soon. Right now it's about making sure we have all the hay in the barn before we come out with something public."

In the meantime, an MLB corn maze is in place on Sauvie Island. The maze at Bella Organic Farms is open through the end of October.

They're waiting for the price of the property they bought, to go up so they can sell it to someone else and make the most amount of money possible and leave town.

I thought they were supposed to announce the location after the WS ended, lol. It is starting to sound like a scam.

They have to understand why it is fans/Portlanders might have this gut feeling about this whole thing. We're becoming the "Show me city".

That’s where they’re going to hold their next press conference announcing that they need more time?
