The Blazers will move up for the player they want at #4. (via Sports Sunday) -Davis -Robinson -MKG -Beal?
Ok, you can probably scratch this. "If there is a player you really want you have the draft picks to move up" "Sacramento loves Lillard, so you jump up to #4 to get him" Thank goodness he's not the GM. Canzano, WT-fuck!
Yeah.... Portland hasn't worked out any of the top names. If they were to move up to 4 for Lillard I would puke
Lillard is a reach at #11 and this guy is talking about trading up to #4 for him. Mind. Blown. But it's Canzano...
Oh i'v read your posts on how you think he is going to be horrible ect. I'm just saying pretty much every draft site had him "slipping" farthest to us at 11 before the end of the regular season. So saying he is a reach at 11 is insane even if you don't like him. Its on par with saying Drummond at 11 would be a reach imo.
Btw, as much as I hate the idea of Lillard at #6 I'd much rather roll the dice on him than helping Houston land Dwight Howard.
I don't think Howard with stay in Houston. I honestly think he is going wherever Dwill is going. He knows that to beat the heat/OKC he needs to be teamed up with at least 1 other superstar. We could make a run at howard. 6/11/ewill/babbit/williams/Flynn(pretty much everything to make salaries match) for Howard, draft day renounce Hickson and sign Dwill. Yah! Oh wait this is portland not LA shit like that never happens here.
I really hope that if Portland moves up it's for either Robinson or Beal. I think those two are separating themselves as their own tier 2
Canzano is a columnist, not a reporter. I think being in such a small town hurts him in that he has to play reporter sometimes as well. As Brad Gluckman used to say, "don't be hatin"
I just don't understand that Canzano hate. Do you people not realize just how great this man is? How humbled we should be reading and listening to him? We are not worthy of his greatness. We should all be telling him this and encouraging to leave this small pond called Portland for a bigger, more important audience and job. LA would be the prefect fit for him. Either as a columnist or even GM of the Lakers.
Forgive me Sly. You are correct. He needs to be in a City that will hate on their team as much as he does. Hey, How about New York?
