Here are the players JC would like Cho to take a gander at:

PG: Devin Harris | Mo Williams | Jameer Nelson
    SF: Danny Granger

And here are the player he'd build around:

SG: Wesley Matthews | Brandon Roy (due to the fact that he's unmovable)
SF: Nicolas Batum (although he's not sold on him)
    PF: LaMarcus Aldridge

I know KP tried to land Granger for years but was shot down every time. I don't see how this will change given our assets.

You could probably get Mo or Jameer for Miller and company. I think Devin and Danny are untouchable with what we have to offer unless NJ just wants to dump him, and Ind is simply not going to give up Danny.

Well if Canzano wants them they must all be totally attainable with the assets we've got. That's a relief.

lol.... anytime a current blazer is mentioned as being traded or not being very good....

HCPs basic reply.... the guy knows nothing.

The more i read these boards.... i have realized HCP isnt just a homer... but a homer who doesn't know NBA talent as much as he pretends too.

    Thats just bullshit.
HCP is an insider with access to these people that most of us dream about. We are fortunate to have him share things with us here. His take on these players is far and away more relevant than some douchebag on the east coast sitting in front of a computer screen.

So if Portland could get Danny Granger without giving up Mathews, LMA, Batum or Roy you wouldn't do it?

    Seriously?

The other three are not very exciting but Granger is on a whole different level then those guys.

Which is why there is absolutely zero chance of Portland getting that dude.

LeBron James would help Portland a lot - does that mean if Canzano mentioned him, he knows a lot?

What did HCP say that would make you think that he doesn't value those players? Saying they're good and saying that Portland could get them are two different things. What Canzano knows shit about is whether or not we can get those players. Canzano is like one of those people who plays around with TradeMachine and suggests trades like Danny Granger for Joel + scrubs because it works under the cap.

Which is why the conjecture from Hamzano is merely to stir shitte up. We should have made a bold move and gotten Arenas according to him as well.

He also wanted to trade for Iverson after we had purged the roster of knuckleheads like the Oregonian had cried for.

Is he still making just as big of fuss about LaMichael James and the charges he was facing before the season?

i started watching this message board last year and i will admitt that i hated mixum just as much as the next guy...and HCP i use to agree with alot but thats because we were doing well....this year ive almost completely changed my stance. what mixum use to say last year has basically all come true. dont get me wrong i live and die the portland trail blazers and all i want is for them to do well BUT i think mixum is probably the most spot on more then any other person on here now...ESPECIALLY HCP. mike barrett> HCP

In order for a trade to happen 2 teams have to be involved. Why would Indy part with Granger for anything we offer? Indiana is heading in the right direction near .500 right now. They aren't going to trade the heart and guts of that team for anything we offer. Top it off with the fact Granger has had multiple knee surgeries, and that can lead down another bad path as well.

As for those 3 guards, yea some of them are available. Considering that we really aren't building around Roy anymore, what the team really needs to look at, is which one would be most effective teamed with Lamarcus. Not Roy.

No need to get on HCPs shitwagon.
You just have to quantify what he shares with us with the understanding that he has a personal relationship with the people we speculate about daily.

    There....wasn't that simple?
