The Arizona Cardinals and veteran wide receiver Charles Lee came to terms on a one-year contract on Tuesday. As per team policy, no financial terms were released. Lee had spent the last three seasons with Tampa Bay and hauled in 15 passes for 207 yards in seven games last year for the Buccaneers. The 27-year-old Central Florida product was a seventh round pick of Green Bay in the 2000 draft and played his first two years with the Packers. Over his five-year career, Lee has recorded 61 catches for 805 yards and three touchdowns in 38 games, nine of which have been starts.
Charles Lee was interesting when he played for the Packers. I kept waiting for him to take "the next step," but he never did. Maybe he'll have better luck in Arizona with Warner throwing to him...?
