The first quarterback off the board on Day Three of the NFL draft is Logan Thomas of Virginia Tech. Thomas went to the Cardinals in the fourth round, with the 120th overall pick. In Arizona, Thomas will do exactly what he needs to do: Get some time to sit behind Carson Palmer while he learns to play the quarterback position at the professional level. Thomas has a strong arm, good size and is a phenomenal athlete, but he has major problems with accuracy and decision making, and he’s not ready to start in the NFL right now.
