Whoa, never expected this. Definetely one of the best trio's in the league. They had high expectations last season, lets see how they do it this year.

I told people this during the playoffs. I always thought edge would go to the cards. Dennis Green is going to have alot of toys to play with this year. I am just glad Edge is in the NFC. I wont have to see him kill the Colts.

Since there's no guarantee that the Cards will do really well next season, James obviously did this cuz he was gonna get a great deal of money.

The Cards need to look to improve their O-line drastically now. In the draft they should grab Tackle Winston Justice in the 1st, and either guards/center Nick Mangold, Charles Spencer, or Deuce Latui in the 2nd.They paid alot for Edge but he'll be worth it..still has some good years ahead of him and he's a proven 1,500 yard back that can be the workhorse for them, and he's good in pass protection.

James is the best running back in the league in my opinion. He can do everything on the feild that a RB is suppose to do. All he needs is a good O-Line and he put up 1,500 yds every year.

I like this signing a lot. James fits in so perfect to with short passes and stretching the field to go for the deep ball. It brings thoughts of when Warner, Faulk, Holt and Bruce were together. This offense has just as much talent, going to be interesting to see what they do with it on the field. To many times last year they when they scored their points it was to little to late.

(Sorry for the bump, didn't see much a need to start a new topic for this)<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Cardinals | E. James won't accept being tackled in the backfieldFri, 23 Jun 2006 15:42:06 -0700Kent Somers, writing for the Sporting News, reports Arizona Cardinals RB Edgerrin James already has let his offensive line know that getting tackled in the backfield this year won't be acceptable. That happened a lot to Cardinals running backs last year as the offensive line struggled throughout the 2005 season.</div>http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nflAnd so it has begun... he's going to have to become more elusive and powerful or they are going to have to get some better linemen.
