Why do the 'stars in the NBA have hair in the beginning of their career and shave it later on? From the top of my head, Kobe, Shaq, Malone, Garnett, Kidd, Barkley, and Reggie have all followed this "scheme". Vince Carter is the only player that I know of that has consistently kept his head bald in his whole career.

But he looks the same to me in real life, because I've seen him with hair first anyways. Um, you don't know why Barkley shaved his head. It's because he was losing his hair and might as well shaved it off. Like me, damnit that sucks. I'm only 22. Why!!!
