    HUGE...

If we don't win this series in less than 7 games now we flat out don't deserve it.

    WOW....

This should be over in 5.

and just imagine what this board would be like if Henrik was out for the series b/c of a play like this. 28, Caged/Eyes, Jam et all would be in front of the NHL offices ready to burn down the building, lol.

Yes, Hank and Kreider both need to be very aware now. You know the Habs will make this into Kreider going after Price to knock him out. Comical that after the game many, including Therrien, said all good not dirty. Now it was the dirtiest hit ever.

I get it, Habs saying what they need to say to get extra motivation and keep their moral up considering this huge loss. So they are doing what they need to do.

But it is all comical to me. It was not dirty.

And we have NO excuse now not to win in 5 or 6...NONE.

100% for sure 31. This board would be flipping out about how much the refs hate us and how the NHL is against NY.

BTW...we have gotten so many breaks this PS injury wise.

No Mason for 3 games for Philly.
No Orpik essentially the whole series for Pitt.
Now no Price for essentially the whole series for Montreal.

We have faced a backup 25% of the time so far, and now that number goes through the roof with no Price.

I don't want to see anyone complain about injuries in here. No excuses now. 6 tops IMO. And be ready. Montreal will play so hard tonight. We better be at that level and don't letdown thinking Price is out we got this.

31 is dead on. This board would be in full meltdown mode...Unless Stealth wasnt banned and he would be glad Hank is out

Budaj has some huge pressure now. Only started 1 playoff game and staring down a possible 0-2 start on home ice.

You have GOT to love it. Two days ago Therrien says not dirty. It happens. What can you do.

    Now this:

Therrien called it a "reckless play" Monday in his pre-game press briefing from the team's practice facility in Brossard, Quebec.

"I'm really disappointed," Therrien said. "Obviously he's our best player. Looking at the incident, it's a reckless play. That's the truth."

Comical. Does ANYONE in the media say hey Michel, two days ago you said clean, now you say reckless...LOL.

Again I don't fault him, has to motivate his team somehow, but this is comical.

I was just thinking the same thing...someone in the NY media should say hey coach, your initial reaction was clean play now its wreckless....the guy split the defense and was harassed from behind, his goal is to score not to take out your goalie, especially when the team is winning and has had a goal taken away from him for running into the goalie....are you sure about those 5 minutes?

This is what happens when a 6'4 225 lb power fwd LAPS their slow defensemen mutliple times on clean breakaways...

37 seconds into the video you see a desperate dive by the left defensemen (#74) swings his stick and hits Kreiders leg...that is the reason he loses his feet

Comical...no doubt. Now maybe you can say Kreider needs to be a little more under control around the net, this has happened to him before, but come on it was NOT reckless and they know it. Again they are saying what they need to say to get their team up. They know that losing Price is a huge blow, and the team will be deflated, so they need to say something to get them going.

We should hire an armed guard to protect Hank tonight. And maybe play Dorsett and Carcillo if Brass is out.

Crazy talk. So what if Kreider was behind their D 3 or 4 times in that game. He was reckless.

Should be a very fun game to watch tonight. Looking forward to it.

The Habs are saying what AV would be saying if it had happened to us, so not much to see there. Now let's put them down 0-2 and really in a hole.

Sounds like Tokarski is getting the start over Budaj.
