After scoring 25 tonight, Booooooz has raised his scoring average from 14.9 to 15.1, which is a new career high. His rebounds are still stuck at 11.4, but if he has one of his rebounding fits before the season ends, he could come close to finishing out the season in the 15/12 club. Not bad, for a second round draft pick nobody cared about
wagner hasnt panned out as planned, boozer is off the charts. lets just pretend boozer was our 1st rounder, and wags was a 2nd round risk! that way, we didnt screw up that draft. keep it rollin booz.
I'd say if we redo that 2002 class, my no.1 pick would be Yao, second= Amare, third=Carlos Boozer, fourth= Nene... and that's it. This is one of the best power forwards in the game, he works hard, he plays hard, and that rubs off his teammates... nice player!
I just can't believe these numbers when looking at them, I say that Booze wins a few NBA awards before his career is over.
I've been a Boozer fan ever since he played for Duke. He is just dominating this season and it's still only his second year as a pro. Be looking for very good things from him in the future.
^Hell yeah, Zach Randolhp also did a good season, but he had a good one last year to in my eyes, Boozer has improved more!
What do you think Boozer's peak will be like fellas? I would expect.. 17-19 PPG 12-15 RPG 55% FG's Seem fair and realistic?
Yeah I can't wait to see Boozer next year. If he can keep everything up, and improve on his rebounds he will be unstopable. He looks like he's giving his best efforts right now, and i think he'll keep improving until the end of the season.
I see Boozer as a probable 17ppg guy and 12rpg! We are a good rebounding team so it would be hard for him to average more! And if we pick up a solid scorer at the three, it would be tough for him to average over 17 with LeBron, Z and the new guy aboard! Still damn fine for our 2nd rounder! I wouldn't give him most improved, as he was quite solid last season! Brian Cardinal maybe!
Boozer will be better at rebounds than Z is now! I'm sure, he works more for them I think, and he get his props for it by me right now.
Damn straight Boozer is a better rebounder than Z. If he wasn't, he wouldn't be in the NBA. He is undersized and not a great post scorer, so he needed to be dominant somewhere to find a place in the NBA. He's done that now, and his post scoring has greatly improved. He's got plenty to work on, like all do, but he is improving at a great rate.
Next season, I don't see Boozer making nearly the same gains he made this season. I can see him scoring 16-17ppg, and pulling down 12-13 rebounds. He'll be an All Star if he can do it. Of course, LeBron may also be an All Star, so we may have two Cavaliers playing in the AS game next season. We'll also get to see LeBron & Melo playing in the Rookie Challenge, so it could be another fun filled weekend for Cavaliers fans.
