James fills his end of rookies' deal <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Toward the end of the season when we were both fighting for a playoff spot, he was like, 'If one of us makes it, the other will go see him play,"' Anthony said of James. James, who declined comment, watched the game from a suite. After the first quarter, Rocky, the Nuggets' mascot, presented James with an Anthony jersey. Anthony said he had not spoken to James for a long time before a conversation in late March, and Anthony wondered if something was wrong. "At the beginning, he thought that we weren't cool," Anthony said. "We didn't talk for (almost) two months. "But we came to our senses. We didn't talk for about two months after the all-star break. I guess we were focused on the season. We hadn't talked, and I didn't know what was going on. He just called me and we rapped. It wasn't nothing."</div> <font size="3">Melo buys watches</font> <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Anthony said during the preseason he would buy his teammates watches if they made the playoffs, and he kept his word, setting them out before Friday's practice. Yep..That is a great thing there..I think it comes with maturity..and melo knew what he had done before affected his rep..He won't let it happen again!
They really are great friends. It was very nice of him, you don't see class acts like this very often. There were a few in the late years, VC giving his starting spot in the ASG and Ervin Johnson willing to go on the Timberwolves bench so that Kandiman could play starter, even though, regardless that he was playing amazing. Congrats 'Melo, you deserve props, no wonder everyone likes you so much, as a candidate for ROY, as a draft pick, as a player and as a person.

Speaking of which I'll go buy myself a 'Melo jersey now
'Melo Truly Is A Nice Guy After All. First LeBron, and now this. He really is a class act. I wish people would follow his example, DMase is like that as well. During his final quiet moment before stepping on the basketball court, Nuggets rookie Carmelo Anthony paused to give a little love to the first friend he made in this city. Sitting in his wheelchair, Nicholas Owens looked up at the Denver forward and shared a smile as warm as their friendship." http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,1413,3...2107002,00.html
That is what friends are for, support each other, i think with LeBron watching Melo, Melo will always brings his best games to prove to LeBron, which is good for the team and bad for the opponents. I have a Melo jersey too, but it is not as shining as the one they wear in the game. Where can i get those "real" ones?
