Milicic, who turns 18 on June 20, is considered the best big man in the draft -- with the skills to score inside and out -- and comes out of the Yugoslavia professional league where most players are in their mid-20s. Err..no one thinks that....he is nothing like Skeeta.....Skeeta is just a shooter...who the hell told you darko is like him? darko has the size,skill,power,rebounding,blocking,passing..he can do alot on the court...darko is a better verison of paul gasol...

darko surprised a lot of people with his strength. i guess he has that lean muscle like KG. it sounds like he'll be a cross between KG & Dirk, so he should be a great player in a few years. if i was melo i would have went to the workout anyways. he has nothing to lose and plenty to gain. he might have impressed them enough to try and trade for him sometime in the future or learned a few flaws in his game he can improve on. why turn down a chance to ball it up against one of the best defenses in the league? and also a chance to get some pointers from one of the best coaches in the league, larry brown. i think doc rivers was right when he compared the attitudes of the US kids and the International players. the US kids feel it's their birth right to be in the league, but the International players think it's a privelage.
