Carmelo Anthony reportedly called Tim Hardaway Jr. following the New York Knicks' draft night trade of him to the Atlanta Hawks. The Knicks traded Hardaway to the Hawks for the draft rights to Jerian Grant. The Knicks also drafted Kristaps Porzingis with the fourth overall pick. Anthony reportedly expressed "displeasure" with the draft night moves made by Phil Jackson. Anthony feels like the Knicks needed to acquire players who could help immediately. i believe melo is 1 of the premier players in this league, they pick an unproven kid from another country, shake head, this is NY, not a team that rebuilds!!!! how many years does melo have left as a star in this league.? i hope i am wrong, but what is phil thinking? i like this grant kid, he shined in a big game infront of the big crowd.... don't know what else to say!
