Bummer. Reports where that she was doing better and was going to pull through. Couldn't quite make it to 2017. RIP Carrie. So do they write her out of the next Star Wars movie or CGI her?
They have shown that they can CGI.... but I imagine they'll have to change the script. I think they'll probably kill her off. How much of Ep 8 has been shot though?
Good question but I am not sure of the answer. It was looking like she would have a huge role in the movie though so yes I think a major rewrite could be in order.

Yup... this is just a sign that this generation is reaching the age where they start to pass away. My dad is 65 and he's not in great health. Carrie Fisher did a TON of drugs in her youth.
She finished filming for Episode 8 and it's rumored her character dies in the movie. Either way Kylo Ren (Ben Solo) is going to be truly evil now...no mom or dad, nothing to bring him back to the Good side....
RIP Carrie Fisher. According to her mother Debbie Reynolds and brother Todd she was stable, damn. I was hoping she would pull through. 2016 is a bastard!
