The Texas Legends (6-2) used a career night from Olin Carter III to top the Greensboro Swarm (1-7) 104-98 and split the weekend series.

The lead changed 15 times and stayed a single-digit gap on both sides. Vernon Carey Jr. grabbed the first two baskets for the visitors and set the tone for a Swarm-dominant quarter. Texas took the lead with a Yudai Baba dunk midway through the second, but Greensboro responded with 10 straight to regain control.

The two teams exchanged baskets and leads through most of the third with Arnoldas Kulboka putting up 12 to keep Greensboro within reach. Carter and Brandon Fields both heated up in the fourth giving the Legends the boost they needed. With under a minute remaining, the two local boys both found their 10th points of the fourth to seal the victory for the home team.

Carter came off the bench for 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists, while Fields added his first double-double of the season with 18 points, 10 assists, and 7 rebounds. Justin Jackson finished with 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists, and Baba tagged on 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. Feron Hunt rounded out the Legends' double-digit scoring with 14 points, 4 rebounds.

Carey led the Swarm's efforts with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Kulboka added 19 points, 5 rebounds off the bench joined by Cameron McGriff with 15 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 steals.
