I think Carwin might be the only man who has a shot against Lesnar. He is just as big, if not bigger, and packs a lot of power. We saw Mir rock Lesnar in the stand up. I think Carwin has the size and strength to wrestle and sprawl Lesnar and might have the power advantage.

What about Cain? Cain isn't as big as Carwin or Lesnar, but is talented. He was damn good wrestling. Can he handle Brock?

Both potentially are threats. Probably some of the bigger threats in the division.

Especially if he gnps in a way that minimizes opportunity for submissions, then a guy like Big Nog or Barnett wouldn't be big threats.

I think Carwin and Fedor are the best guys to overthrow Lesnar at this point. Cain is possible, Lesnar was somewhat neutralized by Couture (height plays a difference), and Cain and Carwin are shorter than Lesnar and strong wrestlers. They might be able to keep it standing long enough to land a big blow, however Lesnar might land something too.

Big punches happen, but I don't think Crocop, or Kongo would pose much of a threat to him.

I don't think Carwin has a chance against Brock, he is too old and has nothing off his back.

How old is Carwin? 32? 33?

He is just as big as Brock, right? Could Brock get him on his back? If he wrestling is adequate, then he should be able to block Brock's TD attempts, right? He's got the power in his hands to land a shot, he just needs to keep it standing.

Carwin and Brock are about the same age I believe.

lol you guys could just wiki both guys. Now I'm too lazy to find that stuff out. I think Carwin is 2 years older. Like Carwin = 34, Lesnar = 31 or 32.

I think Lesnar is bigger than Carwin, but still Carwin is very strong. Carwin said in the offseason he walks around 280, but he takes that weight off and gets down to 265 with hard training camps.

Lesnar looks like he could loose a bit of fat though.

I think Cain has the best chance. I believe his wrestling pedigree is better than Carwin's and probably just as good as Brock's, he works with a great camp at AKA, and he's athletic and young. The only thing Brock has on him is size.

Yeah, DennisRodman is right. I just wiki'ed it and it says Carwin is 34 and Brock is 31 turning 32 this year.

Brock's size is too much of an advantage, though. I don't think Cain would be able to get out from under him if Brock gets on top.

just rewatched he Couture/Lesnar fight on Spike last night, Randy was doing fairly well in the 1st and who knows what could have happened if Brock didn't stuff Randy's takedown attempt by grabbing the cage. Perhaps he would have gotten back up but it's hard to say.
Maybe Cain or more likley IMO, Carwin will have the size and wrestling to make the fight a stand up war moreso than most other fighters and I think both have a significant advantage in striking so long as they don't stay stationary and allow brock to clip them with his meathooks.
