Casey Stoner has won the Catalunya Grand Prix for his third victory in the MotoGP championship this season and American Ben Spies placed third for his first podium finish this year. Stoner overtook Jorge Lorenzo on the first lap Sunday and never looked back as the Australian's Honda proved too fast to catch on the 2.9-mile Catalunya circuit.
