With Alex Rodriguez appealing his 211-game suspension in the Biogenesis case, New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman dismissed the theory he would rather have A-Rod's $25 million wage come off the books in 2014 than see the third baseman win his case against baseball and remain on the active roster. saw that the other day... probably just lip service... I think the Yankees want nothing more than to be rid of A-Rod and his circus
Time that Cashman and the Yankee Players sack up,take a stand on Arod and kick his can right out of the organization. Getting tired of hearing Arod this, Arod that.
...yup, and the Yanx have to be very careful when choosing their words where ARod is concerned for obvious reasons. But secretly, behind the scenes, the Yanx are exploring every possible way to legally shed themselves of this POS named ARod.
It is what it is, and I think NY wants Arod to play this year, because they cannot "just get rid of him" and if he's suspended for the season they have to plug that hole with what? and then if they do find a decent player what happens when Arod returns in 2015? just a big headache, best case is that Arod is banned for life, but after that best case is no suspension at all, losing him for the season means more money invested in that position and having to find yet another player, so again, I think they want Arod to play this year because a lifetime ban is very much unlikely.
