Cavaliers @ Wizards Thread No preview this game fellas, I am sure you guys can handle it without me. KJ
Cavaliers by 11. I think Boozer and James will have a great game in this one. LeBron with a triple double
I was so close . Only 1 point. King James was so hot. He is great basketball player. He was on nice %. Keep it going...., and Cavs will be in Playoff. THX James 4 another win. And Keep it going!
Cavs finally starting to take care of business against the teams they should be beating. Thats the first step to becoming a good team. We've got the Pistons coming up in Detroit and then the Lakers at home. It would be big if the Cavs can pull one out of the two. I'd give some analysis of the game today, but I was relegated to following it on ESPN Gamecast. Lebron apparently couldn't do any wrong for most of the game. I noticed that he got a technical foul, thats an encouraging sign. Its nice to see a little fire out there. Boozer continues to make fools out of all the teams that passed on him in the draft. If he had started this tear of his a couple weeks sooner, he probably would be in All-Star. What was going on with Mcinnis? I noticed that he had a ton of turnovers, thats uncharacteristic of him.
Great win by the Cavs who managed to come back from a Wizard team who went on a 15-0 run to start the 2nd quarter. James only scored a few points in the 4th quarter I believe, but was hit many times around the basket hard and the refs did not give him any calls, which is why he got mad a lost it, throwing his headband into the crowd. James had a career high 38 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocks. Boozer kept up his all star type play by going for 21 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals. Z had 8, 5, 1, and 6 blocks. McInnis had his best game as a Cavalier stat wise, going for 13, 6, 9, and 2 steals, but did have those 9 turnovers which is not like him. The Wiz doubled teamed everyone who got the ball early on, probably giving the Cavs something they were not used to.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> LeBron James scored a career-high 38 points, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 104-100 victory over the Washington Wizards on Sunday. The No. 1 overall draft pick went 14-of-27 from the field, 9-of-11 from the free-throw line and had six rebounds and four assists. He made four three-point plays, including three during his 19-point third quarter. Cleveland notched its 18th victory, surpassing its win total from last season. James gave the Cavaliers the lead for good with back-to-back three-point plays in the third. He forced home a jumper while being fouled by Larry Hughes, then converted a fast-break layup and free throw.</div> Full Story Box Score
LeBronnnn, my love, he came up big in first (14 pts) and third (19 pts) quarters... he really did what he said: "come back stronger the next game" after missing three straight costly free throws against the Bucks the game before. I had him in my NBA Fantasy: rookie challenge where the game counts (points+assists+rebounds) recorded by a rookie in a game every day. The rule is to pick a rookie everyday but you can't pick the same guy in one week. If you wanna play, go to here: http://www.nba.com/fantasy_games/rookies2003/login.jsp and with him getting a career night, guess I hit a jackpot there... (38+6+4=48) ^^ Yay!!!
I was able to be at the game this afternoon and it was a great game. This one guy was trying to pay the kid who got his headband money for it.
Bron really wanted 40, but those refs just would not call any foul. James was under the basket getting hammered in the head and was on the perimeter getting slapped across his wrists. Oh well, still took over the game and got another win for us anyway. All that matters.
I missed the game I am sad to say. Sounded like a good one to say the least. Oh and that technical sounds like bull****.

Hopefully SC or ESPN News will show it (I can't imagine they won't.)
He threw his headband into the crowd, was cussing, and stepped out of bounds during live action, that gets a tech, lol. The angle on TV was not very good though.
Its good to see him show some fire. Contrary to most opposing team's fans, I think that Lebron hasn't really got any favorable treatment from the refs. He and Wags get mugged a lot on the way to the hoop and often don't get a call. Some of that may have to do with the fact that he is so big and strong that he absorbs the hits and doesn't go flying like some of the smaller guys. At least he didn't flip out like Shaq did today, that was some funny stuff.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">LeBron James scored 19 of his season-high 38 points in the third quarter as the Cavaliers surpassed their win total of last season with a 104-100 victory over the Washington Wizards. The teenage rookie phenom scored 14 points in the first quarter, then did even better in the third period to help the Cavaliers erase a five-point halftime deficit. Cleveland outscored Washington, 36-17, in the third quarter, which was capped by a long 3-pointer by James with three seconds left. "I wear (No.) 23 for a reason, so I guess that's what he felt like when he used to heat up," said James, noting Jordan's number. James, who added six rebounds, four assists and two blocks, had the first of back-to-back three-point plays to give the Cavaliers lead for good at 52-50 with 8:02 left in the third quarter.</div> Full Story
