The Cavaliers have split their last four road games following a team-record 34-game road losing skid. Toronto has won three of four after dropping six of seven. Keys To The Game Cavaliers Keep Vince out of the lane Go to Big Z on Bosh as much as possible Don'y let Rose get warm, bang him Attack the basket, make freethrows, don't turn the ball over Raptors Get the ball out of LeBron's hands early Double Ilgauskas on the blocks Keep a body on Carlos Boozer Box out The King's Take I expect a close game, seriously. The Cavs had a chance last time these 2 teams met, but turnovers, freethrows, and Jalen Rose killed us. I love how Ilgauskas is playing more aggressive, how this team has picked up it's defense, how they are attacking the basket, and even better, how they sank their FT's last game. I'll call the Raps by 2 Please visit NBA.com
Long as Williams and Z keep up this aggression we can win. That was Z's problem, before he would just go with the flow of the game instead of just taking it. He never gets calls, but that should never stop him from taking advantage of the opposition.
Raptors by 4. It's in Toronto and Donyell Marshall has been a big time player for Toronto since the deal. Lebron will have 30 5 5
Raptors in Overtime 101-99 Big Z goes off for 25 and 10 and lebron has a good game with 15 5 6 Vince hits for 30 while Rose gets 15 5 5
Cavs by 4 ONLY if the Cavs use their size advantage with big Z in the middle...reducing the turnovers by not forcing the issue is key here. However if they don't do that then Raptors by 5.
There is no way Bosh can handle Z in the post. If Z stays aggressive and we stick with him rather than our patented get him 10 in the first then never feed him the rest of the game trick, he could have another big game. Of course, on the other end, Bosh's athleticism will give our big men fits. If we force him to hit shots and make moves rather than picking up a bunch of garbage points on rebounds and put backs like last game we should be all right. We have a knack for letting good shooters get off a bunch of open looks, so we have to pay special attention to getting up in the faces of Vince and Jalen. However, I don't think we have the defensive personnel to do so, so I look for one or both to have a big game. Raps by 5.
I'll go with Toronto here, but in a close one. The Raps have been very solid at home this season, and in the end I think they'll probably have a bit too much in the tank for Cleveland to contend with. LeBron and Vince on the same court; what a marketer's dream.
Raptors -7 aint BS cause cleveland 2-15 on road raps 10-5 at home Vince will dominate the Cavs and raps win by double digits
Great preview KJ, I just want to see how well Donyell Marshall will play, he's got a big challenge up ahead if man to man is used. We'll see if he can handle the power of Boozer and try to out rebound him. This'll be a great learning experience for both Bosh and LeBron as the likes of Carter and Rose, what appeals to me most is that Kedrick will be handling Rose, he has alot of heart and is a very nice player, it'll be joyful and entertaining to see him contain a heck of a offensive player. edit: Lol forgot my prediction. I say it can go either way but with the way things have been going and the matchups I say Cavs by at least 5.
25/22 Raps lead after 1 Raptors his 3 treys in the final minute to take the lead. Both teams shooting over 50% from the field.
I say cavs by 4 Wagner is gonna play good this game same with LeBron and Boozer and Vince will fill up the stat sheet... but those are my predictions after the 1st.
Raptors up 42-39 @ the half James has 11, 1, and 4 Z had 8, 5, and 1 Rose has 8, 3, and 2 Marshall, Bosh, and Baxter have 8 a piece Carter has 3 on 1-6 shooting Raps are shooting 50%, Cavs 44.7%
