    Keys To The Game

Cleveland - Attack the basket as the Clippers have the NBA's worst defense in the league. Make your freethrows. And want to play defense. Make the Clipeprs have to shoot jump shots with a hand in their face.

Los Angeles - Run. The Cavaliers are showing they they can be very lazy, and even more so on the road as they have lost 32 straight. Attack the basket and play solid defense as the Cavs usually get outshot at the freethow line by a large margin every night and are prone to turn over the basketball.

    The King's Take

Close game, decided by 5 points. Which ever team is hitting the open shots better eill get this win. Exect a high scoring affair.

    Cavs 31/22 up after one.

James had 6 assists in the quarter.

    -------------------------

Clippers lead 48/50 @ the half.

    James has 7 assists

    Boozer has 8 and 8

    Z has 15 and 7

Q-Rich has 19 to lead the Clips.

    -------------------------

    Cavs lead 67/65 after 3

Boozer has 14 points and 18 rebounds

    -------------------------

Clippers win 90/80, 33 straight road losses for the Cavs.

The refs were terrible in this game and got me very upset. It seemed as if they got every call, and they let Chris Kaman throw his elbows and forarms around all night, there were almost a few fights as well.

James has only 4 points on 2-13 shooting. He had 8 assists and 6 rebounds.

Boozer had 14 points and 21 rebounds.

Q-Rich finished up with 25 while Maggette had 22.

    Unreal, just unreal.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Quentin Richardson scored 25 points, and Corey Maggette had six of his 22 points in the final 1:16 Wednesday night as the Los Angeles Clippers beat Cleveland 90-80 to hand the Cavaliers their 33rd consecutive road loss.

The losing streak is the third-longest in NBA history behind Sacramento's 43-game streak in the 1990-91 and 1991-92 seasons and New Jersey's 34-game streak in the 1989-90 and 1990-91 campaigns.

It was the eighth consecutive loss overall for the Cavaliers since they beat the Clippers 103-95 in Cleveland on Nov. 18.

Rookie Chris Kaman had 14 points and 14 rebounds for the Clippers (6-8), who have won two in a row after losing six straight.

The Clippers won despite being outrebounded 55-39.

This is exactly the reason why LeBron doesn't DESERVE(rather he's voted a starter or not) to start or maybe even be on the All Star team. When I say elite, I mean T-Mac, Duncan, KG, Kobe, etc. In another topic KJ you were telling me he was an elite player because of his 33-16-7 game or whatever he had. But only 4 points? When's the last time you seen a player like the one's I just named above score 4 points? And no, I'm not putting LeBron down, it's not his fault. He's only 18, he's sure as hell going to have games like that, no problem. Also goes in affect for "who you build your team around" topic. I wouldn't go out after what 20 games or so and say LeBron is great, let's build a team around him! Give him some time, and he will progress into the elite group of NBA players. Not this year though.

The media needed someone to take peoples attention away from Kobe, so they hyped LeBron & ran with him.

When will you understand that the All-Star game is a popularity contest/exhibition?

There is a thread for this and it won't be talked about here.

You have your own personal view on how the all star game should be played, when it fact, that is not how it is played, so give it up and stop the crying.

lol, why is it always I end up in a arguement with you? Seems like the only time when you can agree with someone is if they say something positive about the Cavs or LeBron.

What did Is ay about the cavs or LeBron in my statements about how the all-star game is ran in the NBA forum or here?

Don't stereo type me. You talking like this to me would be like me calling you a pro-rapist.

    Don't judge me.

True, its all a popularity contest. Yao was averaging under 10 ppg & he was voted starter over Shaq. I'm pretty sure Lebron will start, but I wonder if Melo will start as well. It would be AWSOME considering thats the only possible time you're gonna see them play head to head again this year.
