While the Cavaliers are still waiting to hear from Michigan State's Tom Izzo, they have confirmed talks with Byron Scott about their vacant head coaching position. New Cleveland general manager Chris Grant and assistant Lance Blanks talked with Scott over the phone on Thursday. Scott has coaching experience with the Nets and Hornets.
