Cleveland has lost nine straight visits to Philadelphia. Injury Lists Cleveland Cavaliers Dajuan Wagner DeSagana Diop Philadelphia 76ers Willie Green Todd MacCulloch Monty Williams Allen Iverson - out Keys To The Game Cleveland - Make this team shoot jump shots with a hand in their face. The 76ers without Allen Iverson play good team basketball, and you can't really focus on any one player to take out of the ball game, so we must see a good team defensive effort on that side of the ball. The 76ers are a shorthanded team, so attack the basket every possession, try to draw some early fouls and make Randy Ayers go to his bench early. Defense, rebounding, and offensive execution can get a win. Philadelphia - Double team LeBron James to get the ball out of his hands, the Cavaliers can struggle sometimes when setting up the offense through other players. Play solid team defense and be patient at the offensive end. The Sandman's Take The Cavaliers have a great chance to break this streak either tonight or tomorrow at Chicago. If you ask me, the Cavaliers should win both games. Cavs by 7 Please visit NBA.com
Cavs win this one. They took Philly to OT in the earlier match-up with Iverson around IIRC. 76ers don't have a good match for LeBron who I hope penetrates as often as possible. Big Z doiminated last time and he should be given the ball a lot again inside, where Kenny Thomas gives up too much size. 76ers will rely on Big Dog, but Newble and Williams are as good a pairing of defensive small forwards as you'll find in the league. Cavs by 6.
Newble missed the last game with the flu, still waiting on word if he will play or not. Bremer has played terrible since the season opener against the Kings, Silas has gave him many chances, he just can't come through. So I am not too sold on the Cavs starting lineup yet.
I say the Cavs by 5. Eric Snow just doesn't have what it takes to contain LeBron all that well. When he drives in(which he'll do alot) expect either an assist or a dunk because He 's going to make it happen. BTW Great Preview KJ
I also thinks the cavs will win. I think they have too much depth now with the trade for the sixers to saty afloat.I think the sixers should maybe think of trading snow coleman and maybe even mickie to get the last person they need.
This is a tough call. It is really a tossup. If the Cavs can execute in the final minutes they will get the W. The Sixers are at home but Lebron should and will dominate Eric Snow. He must penetrate the basket. Snow nor the 76ers will have an ANSWER.
This will be a way different game than last meeting at Gund Arena from both these teams. Althought 76ers without AI, Im giving this one to Philly. Coming off a great win against Miami, Im sure they have the talent to beat the Cavs tonight. Best luck to both teams.
Coleman was a game time decision, but will play. Robinson was probable, but will play as well. 2 starters banged up, how much will they play and be affective? Kedrick Brown is starting at the 2 guard for the Cavs.
Good to see Kedrick getting a chance to start. With Williams off the bench as a spark.Good decision by coach Silas Sixers up 6 early on.
Sixers up 29/20 after 1 Phili is running the floor very well right now, and is not turning the ball over. James has 11, 2, and 2, with a 3 ---------- Sixers lead 48 @ 42 the half James has 18, 2, and 3 Sixers have been playing great team basketball, hounding the basketball on the defensive end. ---------- Game tied at 62 after 3 James has 24, 3, and 4 Eric Williams has 11, 9 in the quarter. Darius Miles has not seen any action tonight. ----------
This is an excellent game right now. 2 teams that are just grinding it out for a victory. And LeBron James....11/19 27 pts. What a effort by this manchild. Should be a exciting one to the finish.
James has 32, 4, and 4 4:41 left in 4th 76/71 Cavs ---------- Cavs win 88/81! (2 games in a row I have called perfectly) The streak is broken...finally. James scored 36 points, had 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and was 5-6 from deep. 13 and 6 for Williams 8 and 8 for Battie Ollie had 12 assists ----------
LeBron James has taken over, five 3pt baskets and 34 points. Amazing! Is there any doubt who the ROY is going to be? Kevin Ollie also played a solid game for the Cavs, dishing out 12 assits in 26 minutes. He's one of the better defensive point guards in the league, and could be the their solution at the 1. The depth the Cavs acquired in the deal for Ricky Davis is going to be the difference for them in these close games. They are allowing the Cavs to have consistent quarters. Tonight they scored 20+ in every quarter and didn't have a mealt down in the 4th. Let's see if they can build off the momentum of this big road win.
Congrats to the Cavs on breaking their road losing streak. What a game from Lebron..36 points 4 rebounds 5 assists The trade has worked out great It seems.
So the Cavs have finally broken their road-game losing streak.Congratualations!. Good game by Lebron 36 points and 5 three's that's awsome. Good prediction KJ.
