Travis Atter spends his days riding around Buffalo on the back of a garbage truck.

On Friday nights, however, Atter trades in his work clothes for the blue and gold uniform of the Wyoming Cavalry.

“I’m a sanitation engineer, if you want to get sophisticated,” Atter, the Cavs’ kicker, said after Thursday’s practice. “I hope to someday not have to ride around on the back of a garbage truck all day long.

“I hope to keep playing football, but right now I’m just living the dream.
