I'm watching Game 3 right now. And how much of an idiot is Mike Brown? The Pistons do the exact same **** every third quarter, which is either post for Sheed or pick and pop between Billups and Sheed. EXACT SAME THING. Why won't he tell his players to look for that? They're confused on defense. And for godsakes stop giving the ball to Ilgauskas. He has more of a chance of losing the ball or throwing up a bad shot than making something happen. They have such one-dimensional players. I mean they have players that can play but they're just so stupid (for lack of a better word). That's all I can call them. Stupid. Nothing more, nothing less. Just stupid. They represent the typical new generation. So much blame is placed on LeBron. But when I watch the games, it looks like their coach sets it up this way. He WANTS LeBron to pass the ball. I just wish LeBron would tell his coach to STFU, and then he can go to work. In the first half, he just drove and drove. It was like he was unguarded. Hughes is useless btw. They have too many players with low basketball IQ's. They need to get some Battier or Luke Walton type players. A competent point guard would be nice for them too. They're gonna lose anyway to the Pistons, but they should at least put up a fight. Every 2nd half they get demolished by Rasheed Wallace. Seriously, Sheed like MJ+Bird in the third quarter.

Is that why the Cavs won game 3?

I hope you were joking about the part of Lebron telling his own coach to stfu.

I think for a team with a low bball IQ they played okay.. bron did his thing but i can see where your coming from on some points.. first half bron pretty much waltzed to the basket, he should only settle for the J as a secondary score i think. Either way, like they say a W is a W so im happy for the cavs in game 3.. Bron really stepped up in the crunch it was great game 2 watch.

Don't be an idiot. Did you watch the damn game, son? They were getting mauled at the start of the third. And it always happens. Detroit runs the EXACT same plays. And Cleveland still fell for it. Luckily, they got smart and stopped going to Ilgauskas on the post. He's more of a face-up player than a low post scorer. And LeBron really bailed them out tonight.

Before I 'critique' your post, I must say that you cannot base your opinion of the team based on one game.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Clear It Out:</div><div class="quote_post">I'm watching Game 3 right now. And how much of an idiot is Mike Brown? A couple of things. One, Mike Brown is actually a decent coach who can make plays, and knows what to tell the players to do. You cannot place any blame on him for players falling for a pick and pop. That is the players' reponsibility.
Two, a well-executed pick and pop is one of the easiest, and yet most effective, plays in basketball. Sheed and Billups were playing it well and there are three possible outcomes of their good picks: open shot for Sheed, open shot for Billups or a defensive mismatch. More than likely, they were not 'confused' on defense, more helpless to stop two class players from doing what they do best.

Calling Ilgauskas a one-dimensional player is simply ludicrous. He can shoot from a fair distance. He can post up and score (have you seen is hook shot?). He can rebound well. He can shoot free throws. And he is one of the more important players in the Cavs lineup, especially when they are struggling to score as a team early on.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Clear It Out:</div><div class="quote_post">I mean they have players that can play but they're just so stupid (for lack of a better word). They don't have players with basketball IQ in the region of those like Shane Battier, but that does not make them stupid. They work their positions and get good shots and make good plays. A team who is as stupid as you are making out could not defeat the Pistons in the same manner as the Cavs did.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Clear It Out:</div><div class="quote_post">So much blame is placed on LeBron. But when I watch the games, it looks like their coach sets it up this way. They do need a player like Battier, that's true. But the rest of this section is sheer ********. Mike Brown wants the ball in LeBron's hands, and for LeBron to do what he thinks is best with it. Because he automatically demands double-teams from the opponents, this leaves an open man. When he finds the open man, there is an easy shot. This is an integral part of the Cavaliers' offensive arsenal. Larry Hughes is a solid player, who showed glimpses of what he can really do at times during this season. He is inconsistent, but not useless. They have a competent point guard for the future in Daniel Gibson, but what they really need is a proven, veteran point guard who wants a ring. If they get that player, a ring is what they'll get.

They might not lose to the Pistons, and how on Earth can you possibly imply that they are not putting up a fight. They lost the first two games by three points each, and then won the third by six. How is that not putting up a fight? Total up the points across the three games and it is dead even at 240 apiece. If that is not putting up a fight, what is? In the game that you say they are demolished in the second half, they actually outscored the Pistons 42-39 in. Rasheed Wallace averages 10ppg in the second half over these three games. That's not exactly demolishing is it. It's a good tally, but it doesn't demolish the Cavs.
