I don't see why not. Watched him play against the Raps last night and he looked like he belonged on the court. I would not be surprised to see him be signed for the rest of the year.

I sure hope we do, his scoring off the pine for our at times lazy 2nd unit that allows other teams to get back in the game after we establish a lead is much needed.

He's one of the best off the bench players Cavs have right now, so I hope they resign him, it's to their own best. [IMG]

They have to keep him for the rest of the year. Kedrick is obviously not going to get any time the rest of this season, and its too late to pick up players that could be added to the playoff roster.

No-brainer decision to sign him on for the remainder. He is one of few guys off the bench capable of filling it up. Retaining him is a very inexpensive low risk move.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Cavs sign Nailon to second 10-day contract

Lee Nailon signed a second 10-day contract Saturday with the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are 5-0 since the forward joined them.

Nailon has averaged 7.2 points and 3.4 rebounds since signing with the Cavs on March 3.

He played 27 games with Atlanta earlier this season before being waived on Dec. 29. He also signed two 10-day contracts with Orlando before he was released.

The Cavs had been looking for some scoring from their bench when they signed Nailon, who had played for Cavs coach Paul Silas in Charlotte.

Nailon has given Cleveland another optionon offense, and sparked their playoff push.

I would imagine the Cavs will re-sign him for the rest of the season after this week is up, he has added a certain boost to the Cleveland bench. I'm also starting to feel bad for the guy, going from team to team and only lasting til the 2nd 10 day contract.

He's always had the talent to stay in this league. It is just what is upstairs that gets him messed up. Attitude can get you out of this league quick smart.

He should be resigned for the remainder of the season. And they might look to keep him for next year too.

I wish we could replace "Nailon" with "Newble" in that last sentance.

    Lee Newble? Sounds studip :P
Hopefully Nailon stays, and Bobcats drops him, but the world isn't always the way we want it so we just have to way and see.

Nailon is only signed till the end of the season, you wouldn't need to drop him to the Bobcats. He would go straight to the free-agent list.
