Daniel Gibson has been struggling with a left quadriceps injury and head coach Byron Scott decided it was best to deactivate him to allow it to heal. "We want to hold him back for a few more days," Scott told The News-Herald. "We want to go three or four days with no contact to try and get that thing to calm down." Scott will give Gibson's minutes as the backup shooting guard to Manny Harris and Joey Graham until he returns to the active roster.
I feel this move is smart, and will help Gibson score 25 PPG, along with leading the Cavs to a playoff run.
