In Thursday's edition of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Brian Windhorst details the Cavs' plan in free agency at shooting guard. He writes: "The Cavs are also believed to pursue in various shooting guards. Sources indicated the team planned to make contact with Ray Allen, Mike Miller and John Salmons. Allen, like Amar'e Stoudemire and Chris Bosh, would become more likely if James re-signs." Miller is a friend of LeBron James, so it's possible if LeBron stays, Miller might have an enticement to sign in Cleveland. Allen is likely to draw a lot of interest in free agency, but with Doc Rivers coming back to Boston, he may stay put. Salmons had a nice season after being traded from Chicago to Milwaukee, and he should draw some decent interest as well.
