http://www.nba.com/cavaliers/news/cavs_wigrecord_060217.htmlOn Tuesday at the Q, the Cavaliers play the Magic. The Cavs will be handing out free AV wigs. The Cavaliers are trying to break a Guinness World Record for the ?most people wearing wigs in a single venue." The current record is held by the Pistons with 6,638 wigs (Ben Wallace wigs). The Cavaliers are hoping to get around 20,000 people wearing the AV wigs. They will ask everyone to put them on at a certain time so that they can document the record. This doesn't have anything to really do with basketball, I just found it interesting. The Cavs beat the Pistons in the only game they have played against each other so far this year (it was one of the best games the Cavs played this year, but they did have Hughes). After beating the Pistons in Basketball, they are about to beat their record for most worn wigs. This theory might sound a little crazy, but I think this is just going to add on to the Cavs and Pistons little rivalry (mainly, if only, with the fans). Has anyone else noticed this "rivalry"? Do you think this record breaking wig game will add onto the rivalry?
this isnt really a rivarly untill Artest was traded now since the Cavs and Pistons are the top teams in the Central there will be some madness when they play these 2 teams are quit the same cept on the PG postion and match up exactly right cept for the PG spot. Big-z on Sheed,Gooden on Wallace, LBJ on Prince, Hughes on RIP just the PG is the only spot I know they can beat us at but the Hughes and RIP one will be fun to watch for many of the following years
Scoring wise the Pistons have us beat in the PG spot. But Eric Snow is a better defender than Billups is, and we have that on our side. I like having Eric (except for his salary) he would/is good to have guard a guy like Billups. He is a good passer too. He just can't hit anything unless he is 15 feet away from the hoop and wide open.
