We're one day from August, as far as the team and division is concerned yes, there is "alot" of time left to decide the division but the Yankee lead could literally evaporate in a week while simultaneously losing time/games from the season which is why they can NOT afford to go any longer or further with CC. As August is upon us, he has recently made his 20th start of the season and the fun and games are over. His 5.54 ERA has increased close to 1/3 of a run higher in his last 8 games. The Yankee SP ERA is 4.36 - without CC it's 4.06. Has five starts where he both failed to go at least 6 IP AND allowed at least 5 runs including his LAST TWO starts - total of 25% of his starts. Sabathia has allowed 45% of the HRs given up by Yankee SP. After 20 GS, he has failed to go at least 6 IP in eight of his starts - 40/% of the time. The time is NOW to remove him from the rotation- and if they keep sending him out there, it looks outright scandalous- and disgraceful.
