Nothing special or even remotely ace like about him anymore. Granted he usually gets destroyed by the redsox, but now he struggles vs everyone it seems. Also you gotta be a whole lot smarter than to throw a hittable fastball to a dead red hitter. You don't throw 96 anymore big guy.
Blue I agree, although he struck out Napoli, he is just facing to much solid contact on his pitches. Maybe he needs the year to recover from the procedure he had. Maybe he will get stronger but he has a lot of innings on that arm, a good #3 starter, that's it.
