I really hope that Petr Cech makes a complete recovery, but how disappointing that he continues to stir the pot by ridiculously suggesting of Stephen Hunt, "I don't know if he meant to do it, I don't want to know ....." No professional footballer wants to break another's skull. And if Petr Cech is disappointed not to hear personally from Hunt, then he couldn't be any more disappointed than the Reading camp in how Chelsea mishandled the whole affair giving rise to threats and basically hate campaign against the unfortunate Hunt. Remember Reading even felt it prudent to withdraw a fully fit Hunt from the return fixture at Stamford Bridge. Apalling, but nevertheless the correct decision in unfortunate circumstances. At least Cech has acknowledged that it can't have been easy for Hunt either. The whole episode has become boring. Can we not pull a veil over the subject and just move on. Please?
