Why don't we ban in car stereos and cupholders and fast food then. This crap pisses me off like goverment has nothing better to do.
Im pretty sure this has been a law in New York and California for awhile, I never saw this as a problem. I rarely use my cell phone while I drive
I can understand bans of using cell phones while driving, but you can't just ban them completely. Cell phones are a way of life these days.Here in Minnesota, they made a law that says teenagers cannot use cell phones while driving.

If you can't drive and talk on the phone at the same time then something is wrong. I've done it numerous times and I've never even come close to getting into an accident.
Supposedly talking on the phone and driving at the same time is the same as driving drunk. So I get why their is a ban on them when driving.
Man - I did a project on this, I live in Michigan and in Michigan we have like the highest amount of cell-phone related crashes, so this is really good - I hate when people are talkin on their phone and driving retarded. Finally, Granholm has done something right in her term - I can't wait till she leaves though.

Everyone who says its their right to use a cell phone while driving, thats bullsh**. Its the everyone else's right to know that ppl arent driving around talking on cell phones. Its the same thing with drinking and driving and smoking in public. Does that make sense. I think it's kind of hard to put it on paper what i'm trying to say.
I understand what you mean. If I want to drive drunk then I'm not only endangering my life but other innocent people on the road who have no say in the matter, the same principle applies here.
