One night after they should have beat the Mavs in Dallas (controlled the game for 46 1/2 minutes), they take out the Spurs in San Antonio. It's the first time the C's ever beat the Spurs since they drafted Duncan. Pierce was absolutely nutty down the stretch, hitting a ridiculous shot in Bowen's face and then taking a huge charge on the other end. This is going to get us any extra ping pong balls, but it's awesome to see us make some noise against the league's best two nights in a row.
This is huge. It's been awhile since I've been this excited about the Celts. I can't wait to see what we're getting on draft day. If we can go toe to toe with the league's best two nights in a row, with Oden, Durant, or whatever we can really cause some havoc.
